If you change your mind, the return is yours to arrange and pay for. These are heavy pieces and return freight is genuinely expensive — we would rather tell you now than at the counter.

Dust metal and glass with a dry or slightly damp cloth, then dry it. Brush linen and fabric shades with a soft brush or a vacuum dust attachment rather than washing them. Never submerge any part of a lamp.
Unplug before changing a bulb and let the old one cool first. Stay at or below the maximum wattage listed in the specifications above.
A floor lamp and a shelf unit in the same footprint. Two crinkled fabric shades — one up top, one at the base — put soft light at two levels, and the shelves between them hold everything that would otherwise need a side table.
Light at two heights
The upper shade sits at standing eye level for reading and general room light. The lower shade throws a low, warm wash near the floor — the kind of light you leave on in the evening instead of the overhead. Run both, or just one. The crinkle-textured fabric softens the output at both ends.
Shelves instead of a side table
Two open shelves, each 10.25 inches square, hold up to 4.5 lbs apiece — remotes, a small plant, a candle, a stack of books. In a narrow living room or beside a bed, it does the work of two pieces of furniture in a 10-inch square of floor.
Two switches, both within reach
A footswitch turns both lamps on and off when your hands are full. A pull chain on the top lamp lets you drop to just the lower glow without bending down. The 5.9 ft cord reaches past the nearest baseboard outlet.

At 61.5 inches this is a tall standing lamp for a living room corner, beside a sofa or armchair, or behind a reading chair.
